South City Stitchworks frame bags are built with premium materials to last thousands of miles. Every project features custom color and fabric options. Ecopak EPX200 is my standard SCSW frame bag material for its balance of technical performance, sustainable production, and wide color range. It is a proven, long-lasting fabric suited to any conditions. Ultra 200 UHMWPE is a premium upgrade that is lighter and stronger, and it is available in silver, black, or white for an additional $50. EPX200 performs beautifully in any situation, but Ultra 200 takes things a step further. It is like comparing 4130 chromoly to titanium: both are outstanding, just different in character.
All bags begin with a single zippered drive-side main compartment. Additional zippers and sections can be added to your specs. Standard YKK #10 molded-tooth zippers are nearly indestructible, while YKK #10 Uretek aquaguard versions offer added water resistance for $5 per zipper. We can go over the pros and cons of each when planning your bag.
Attachment methods include lace-up shock cord (recommended for top tubes), sewn-in Velcro, daisy chain with one-wrap Velcro, and bolt-on ($15 upcharge). Each has advantages we’ll discuss to suit your setup.
