After years of building these custom, I've got the data: most all riders land a great fit in one of four top tube lengths: 17", 19", 21", or 23". Measure your top tube from seat post to head tube, then choose the size closest to your measurement without going over. (20.5" top tube? Go with the 19".) 

These bags have become a favorite among ultra-distance cyclists. When you're deep in the backcountry, your top tube space is prime real estate for fuel, electronics, and morale boosters. Each bag includes three internal compartments, two-way YKK Aquaguard zippers, an internal foam floor, and a daisy-chained shock cord/Velcro attachment system (Velcro and cord both ship standard, so you can dial in your setup). Running a frame bag with a laced top tube? The same shock cord secures both for a clean, cohesive look.

Built from premium Ultra 200 fabric, these bags are more durable and lighter than the Xpac used by other manufacturers: 3.5 oz/yd² vs. 6 oz/yd² for Ecopak/X-Pac. (We won't even get into what the "big guys" are using out of low-wage overseas factories.)

This stock version carries over the details that made the custom build a favorite: the external stash pocket, the cord port, the Ultra fabric, now available off the shelf. Every Standard SCSW Full Distance TT bag includes:
