Materials

Colors of all fabrics are constantly in rotation based on customer needs and availability. As this process is about working together to build the gear you want and need, I will always aim to get what you want if it is not in stock. Please contact me anytime to inquire about what's available.

The main panels of the frame bags are typically made with ECOpak fabrics, but I also use X Pac VX21 and RX30 fabrics, and both variations are made in the USA. All ECOpak and X Pac materials I use are waterproof-rated to 200 PSI or more. In the higher abrasion areas around the perimeter of the bags I usually use 1000 Denier Cordura nylon laminate, and I can back the Cordura with a layer of ECOpak, etc. upon request.

Challenge UHMWPE Ultra 200 fabrics are also available for an upcharge. (P.S.: This stuff is so nice, it is worth it!)

I'm continually trying new fabrics in my never-ending quest to make really nice bike bags. I'd always love to chat materials, and am up for trying new materials anytime. When the goal is to ensure you get the bag you want and need, there are few barriers we cannot hurdle to build the project you have in mind.

I am also very keen on using upcycled materials. These are my favorite projects, in fact. Feel free to mention if you have some material you'd like to use. Let's make it happen!
